Third-year students, Chris Wilcox and Ashley Opfer, continued with their SCOL Trial Team history-making campaign when they competed at the 2012 National Trial Championships in Austin, Texas, on March 21st through 25th. Trial Team Delivers Strong Performances In Multiple States
DU’s National Trial Team had another strong weekend, with two squads participating in two separate tournaments in two different states. Fordham University School of Law played host to the Judge Paul Joseph Kelley, Jr. Invitational Trial Advocacy Competition. Hoffman Cup Champions Brian Caplan and Ashley Opfer represented DU, coached by DU Alums Chris Brown and Nicole Quintana. Ashley and Brian advanced all the way to the semi-finals. This was the inaugural year of the Kelly Invitational in Fordham, and DU delivered a great performance. Congratulations to Ashley, Brian, and their coaches.
